This presentation allows a better dosage, resulting in greater treatment compliance by patients. The patient needs only to take 1 tablet of 500 mg instead of 2 capsules 250mg.
By having a higher dose of Ursodeoxycholic Acid per tablet it allows treatment of 2 tablets in only one take at night for a patient with PBC weight 70-75kg.
It is especially suitable in Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC) and dissolution of gallstones.
