The more informed, the more protected...

With this slogan on July 11th. and 12th. we arranged with our Personal Protection Equipment supplier, the implementation of information meetings for all employees who work in operational and supportive areas.

The main objective was to talk about a key concept: the awareness on the importance of proper use of personal protection equipments in order to minimize consequences of possible accidents and occupational diseases.

The following topics were discussed:

• Risks identification in the workplace
• Implications of non-use of protective equipment and health effects
• Appropriate selection of personal protection equipments
• Use and maintenance of them

They were very enriching instances as in both days they allowed identification of opportunities for improvement and to share positive experiences between different production areas.

In addition and analyzing our performance, we could celebrate the low accident rate within the company.
