Indomethacin has a powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic action to determine a strong inhibition of the COX-1 enzyme and thus the synthesis of prostaglandins. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine that low dose determines a mild anxiolytic effect, frequently associated with pain.
Formula
Each tablet contains: indomethacin 25 mg; diazepam 2 mg.
Therapeutic Action
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory belonging to the Group of Indoleacetic acid derivatives. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic actions that are due to its potent inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
It is well absorbed orally; it is eliminated by urine, bile and feces.
