Diapresan belongs to a generation of antihypertensive drugs, the ARB II (receptor antagonist of angiotensin II), effective and safe in different types of arterial hypertension.
Diapresan is first choice in directions where is intolerant of ACE Inhibitors, in particular, the secundary caused by the cough.
Formula
Diapresan 8: Each tablet contains Candesartan cilexetil 8 mg.
Diapresan 16: Each tablet contains Candesartan cilexetil 16 mg.
Therapeutic Action
Antihypertensive. Candesartan boasts a powerful and high specific antagonization of receptors of angiotensin II (ARBII), in vascular smooth muscle cells and in the glomerulosa of the adrenal gland.
It has great power and prolonged antihypertensive action maintained uniform for more than 24 hours. The antihypertensive action is due to the decrease in peripheral vascular resistance, while heart rate and cardiac output are not affected. Its therapeutic effect is dose-dependent.
Diapresan is used for the treatment of hypertension in all their stages, only or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs (diuretics, beta-blockers, calcium antagonists, etc.).

Diapresan 8: 20 and 30 tablets 8 mg.
Diapresan 16: 20 and 30 tablets 16 mg.
