Coridamol
Antiarrhythmic. Antianginal. Antihypertensive. It converts hearth rate to sinus rhythm or slows ventricular rate in atrial fibrillation.
Formula
Coridamol: Each coated tablet contains Verapamil hydrochloride 80 mg; Excipients q.s.
Coridamol Retard: Each coated extended-release tablet contains Verapamil hydrochloride 120 mg; Excipients q.s.
Therapeutic Action
Supraventricular arrhythmias: paroxysmal tachycardia, fibrillation and flutter; ventricular arrhythmias: premature and ventricular tachycardia.
Coridamol produces the conversion to sinus rhythm or, as in atrial flutter and fibrillation, slowing the ventricular rate. Coronary ischemic disease.
Antianginal: stable angina pectoris and angina pectoris by spasm, unstable angina pectoris.
Antihypertensive: hypertension mild to moderate.
How Supplied
Coridamol: 20 coated tablets containing 80 mg of Verapamil hydrochloride.
Coridamol Retard: 20 coated tablets containing 120 mg of Verapamil hydrochloride extended release form.
