Apixaban 2.5 and 5mg - Coated tablets
Angicor® is a new product containing Apixaban in concentrations of 2.5 mg and 5 mg
Angicor® is an anticoagulant, antithrombotic, direct inhibitor of coagulation factor Xa.
Formula
Each tablet contains:
Angicor® 2.5: contains as active ingredient Apixaban 2.5 mg (coated tablet, yellow, unscored).
Angicor® 5: contains as active ingredient Apixaban 5 mg (coated tablet, pink, scored)
Therapeutic Action
- Prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery.
- Prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) with one or more risk factors such as previous stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA); age = 75 years; hypertension; diabetes mellitus; symptomatic heart failure (= NYHA Class 2).
- Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), and prevention of recurrences of DVT and PE in adult patients.
