Our Development

In 1931 the Spanish immigrant Mr. Gerardo Ramón Cerdá settled in Montevideo and initiated production, starting by nutritional supplements and progressively adding medical specialties. The company grew and from 1956 it turned into Gerardo Ramon y Cia S.A. setting up its first own premises at Joaquin Suarez No. 3359 street.

In 1992 Laboratorios Bagó of Argentina, founded in 1934 by Mr. Sebastián Bagó, a Spanish immigrant, joined Gerardo Ramon y Cia. thus becoming Gramón Bagó de Uruguay S.A. (Gramón Bagó).
